Handmade in the US, the Project Cedrus Aluminium Mast is the perfect pairing, aligning with our ethos of a product that can be used with your existing foil gear. Project Cedrus has a growing list of fuselage adaptors that allow you to ride your existing foils.
PLEASE NOTE: The Maximum Total Cable Length (Cable Length External + Motor Height), must not exceed 200cm. See “Cable Length” paragraph here.
Example: If your motor is in Efoil position, this will use 70cm of cable, leaving you with an external cable length of up to 130cm: 70cm motor height + 130cm external cable length = 200cm total cable.
Project Cedrus Adaptors: Here at Foil Drive we offer the more popular Project Cedrus Adapters. You can find and order other adapters direct from Project Cedrus HERE.
Axis, Cabrinha, SAB Kraken, Lift, Takuma and UniFoil are generally in stock ready to order. Adapters for other brands including F-One Slingshot, Naish, MikesLab, and more are available on a made-to-order basis direct from Project Cedrus.
Batteries: The Standard Battery is 37% more capacity than the Assist and are perfect for flatwater foildriving, heavier riders or those wanting longer sessions. A point of difference is the Small Batteries, these are 1/3rd the weight and capacity of the Standard, and can be taken on most airlines. You can also connect 2 Small Batteries together for a longer session when traveling. Read more about batteries HERE.
Low Volume Prone Boards: Assist and Assist PLUS kits were intended for use on larger, SUP style boards. Many foildrivers successfully use their kits on smaller, prone style boards, however, there are some things to consider. You will need to decide where you mount the box, most people put it towards the nose of the board. This is because the antenna to the controller must remain above water. There is a lot of great content on Youtube from several creators.
